We hope that all our friends are recovering nicely from this weekend's festivities!
Upon our usual website browsing, we happened upon an article about the old "Lipstick Index". In the past, as our economic situation has worsened, lipstick sales have gone up drastically due to their low price points and instant gratification. (i.e., a cheap thrill)
Now, there has been a shift. Due to the past few year's economic downturn, lipstick sales haven't risen as much as....*wait for it*...NAIL POLISH!!
Of COURSE!! Another instant gratification beauty purchase that is still relatively cheap. Even if women see celebs wearing a fabulous nail pattern or color, our lovely drugstores have drummed up replicas to satisfy our budget conscious taste buds! (Hello Sally Hansen nail stickers!)
As a result, we'd like to showcase some of the colors we're wearing this season on our ten lovely digits!
