Just One Sweater

After the bi-polar weather we've had lately in the area, we are cautiously stating that "Fall/Winter is here folks!" Good thing we're not weather-women..we would have been chased out of town with pitch forks given the highs and lows we've had lately!

A great piece that we can't wait to wear constantly this season is the chunky knit.  Comfy. Cozy. And stylish even when the mercury drops below 32 degrees!!  We are loving how long skirts look with said knit.  Not only does it exude a 70's vibe, but a long skirt also keeps our shivering timbers..(aka legs) warm in the winter!

We love being adventurous with our patterns, colors and textures, so here are a few options on how to create these looks yourself!

Option 1:  With this look we kept the color palette simple, pulling the burgundy directly from the skirt with the knit.  This color coordinated look will work well for many women in an office environment this winter!

Option 2:  Color Blocking was huge this summer and its transition into fall is simple.  Same knit, but a cobalt blue maxi skirt. The rich jewel tones of both pieces create impact, but because they are still darker hues, lessens the severity. Poof!

Option 3:  Pairing the burgundy knit with a patterned green, cream and cyan skirt creates an unexpected but effortless look!  It is one of those "I don't know why it goes, but it totally does".  At least we like to think so!

Add in some great accessories like the ones we mentioned above and you've got three days of amazing & cozy looks!

Enjoy!

xx,
B&M
