What to Wear: New Years Eve 2012!!

We don't know about you, but we are READY for New Years Eve!!  New Years festivities are meant to celebrate the past year, our achievements, reflect on what we've learned and experienced and to usher in the possibilities of the new year!  We just know that 2012 is going to be a HUGE year, so we must celebrate accordingly!

Here are four looks that we are considering wearing this year...its still a toss up...and we'll no doubt be finalizing our looks moments before our fete!

LOOK #1:  Wild Card

Don't know exactly what you'll be doing this NYE? Great, neither do we!!!
When headed to an event where you're not sure if its dressy or dressed-down, these looks work best.
Sequins + Fur = Can't Beat It!
Add those in with jeans or silk pants and you've got a great transitional outfit!

B: Top-Brooklyn, NY Vintage Market- | Pants - Cheap Monday | Shoes -Vince Camuto | Cuff -Gift
M: Top - Kensie | Fur Shrug - | Pants - Bar III | Shoes - Rachel Roy

LOOK #2: Party Girl

SEQUINS SEQUINS SEQUINS!! It IS New Years after all!
Don't be afraid to double up on the sequins if it strikes your fancy!  Celebrating with your friends is the best time to try and mix together different trends to get a great one-of-a-kind look!  But always remember if you'll be dancing and moving around a lot of people...be comfortable in what you're in!

B: Blazer -H&M | Top -Urban Outfitters | Skirt -Urban Outfitters | Shoes -Calvin Klein | Earrings-Casablanca Vintage
M: Blazer - Express | Top - Pleated Top | Wool Shorts - BCBG | Shoes - Steve Madden | Necklace - Lucky

LOOK #3:  The Dinner Party
For a dinner party, you don't want to look like you're going to a club.  Strike the "Conservative + Sexy" note with pieces that are bit more demure with a twist!
tip: don't discount the power of a belt!

B:  Dress -Alice+Olivia  | Blazer -Rachel Roy  | Shoes-Vince Camuto | Necklace -Top Shop
M: Dress (Is actually a vintage over-sized blazer belted!) | Shoes - Steve Madden

LOOK #4: A Glamorous Evening

Are you ringing in the New Year in the most elegant, full-blown-formal fashion?!
Well, you can't miss with beaded, floor length glittery numbers!  *Fancy*!

  1. I'm so inspired by the vintage blazer-turned-dress in the third look. Great outfits, ladies!
