Cap Toe!

Lately we have been seeing an influx of the cap toe in many designers shoes.   For men, its the equivalent of the shell toe look on Adidas sneakers.  Classic. Iconic. Immediately recognizable.

We love the sort of mod-meets-glam look that this type of design gives off.  It also adds a major ounce of "umph" to jeans, a dress, skirt....pj's!

Lets go Dutch...kind of!!

Today has been quite interesting, we woke up to SUN!   Amazing to us considering we have endured literal flooding and countless tornado watches all week.  Also, clog-like platforms have been on our mind!  

Now don't get scared off by "clog"; "milkmaid" is the last thing that you'll think about once you take a peek at a pair!   These 70's staples are making their way back into our wardrobe, and SURPRISE!! they've been updated and refined to go BEAUTIFULLY with our flared jeans that we mentioned in a previous post here!

These shoes are so popular this season and available everywhere.  The chunkier heels are definitely on-trend with all the looks we're seeing lately.  Despite the high heel, the platform evens it out to make the shoes surprisingly comfortable!

In short (or tall)..we're in love!
